“As I’ve said for years, reducing fuel consumption by forcing automakers to sell smaller, and more frugal vehicles, is like fighting the nation’s obesity epidemic by forcing clothing manufacturers to only sell in small sizes,” he said.

No way, not in my lifetime. Gasoline works perfectly. left my car in an unheated warehouse for 4 1/2 months, not seeing it once all winter. Come back, fill the carbs bowls with gas, a little more gas down the throat of the carbs. Engine fired right up and ran like it just sat overnight. Drove 30 mins home at 70 mph and then got some fresh gas at the local station. Car has been running just great ever since. Why do I wanna give that up, how can I gain over that ? My car runs really-really good too, zero to 100 mph in 14 seconds with wheel spin.

By the way, you shouldn't put gas down the carbs' throats, that could start a fire in your beloved car's engine bay. If it backfires. Yes, the accellerator pumps do just that, but this advice came from a respected drag racing magazine.

The Volts have instant torque too, because there's no torque curve (build up of volumetric efficiency.) I think the Volt owners are all environmentalists, and don't want to support the Milan Dragway.

Oh, gotta go to Milan test and tune and check it out, just $25 to run your car down the track...how come I see no Volt cars over at the strip ?
