Milan Bakery closes for the second time in 8 months
The Milan Bakery has closed for the second time in eight months according to a report in the Milan News-Leader.
The bakery closed in September, promising to continue contracted work and re-opened just one week later. New owners Linda Ohl and LeeAnn Martin took over the shop, located at 42 E. Main St., in downtown Milan, in February.
According to the report, Martin and a number of employees received text messages from Ohl instructing them not to report to work Monday. Martin told the News-Leader she was not aware of plans to close the store and was concerned previously placed orders might not be filled.

When the bakery gives you lemons, head over to Roy's and have a Big One.

Kind of odd, the co-owner being unaware of plans and getting the "You're getting time off" text that the employees received. I'd be interested to see a follow up, especially with Martin.
