Subway to open new location on Plymouth Road in northern Ann Arbor

By Nathan Bomey

A Subway restaurant franchise is set to open soon at Plymouth Green Crossings, a mixed-use development on Plymouth Road on Ann Arbor's north side.

The franchise, owned by Brad Turowski, signed a lease for 1,400 square feet of space at the development, according to a news release issued by brokerage firm Mid-America Real Estate-Michigan Inc.

Subway joins a number of retail tenants at the complex at 3357 Plymouth Rd., including Olga's restaurant and Sweetwaters coffee shop.

It was not immediately clear when the new location would open. Turowski was not available for comment. The Subway farther west on Plymouth Road — which he also owns — is expected to remain open.

It's the second new Subway for the city of Ann Arbor in recent months. A Subway owned by franchisees Randy and Denise Munroe recently opened in the first-floor commercial space of the Sterling 411 Lofts building at the corner of Division and Washington streets in downtown Ann Arbor.

This is what you call news? This is a joke. How about the woman who came home today to find her husband dead? Or the other day when the fire dept evacuated a house full of apartments because a tenet spilled gasoline in is room?
