By Jenn McKee

Ann Arbor native and "Party Hard" rocker Andrew WK will play a special set tonight at a to-be-announced location as a benefit for Community High School.

After playing a set at Bledfest in Livingston County, WK will announce via Twitter (and other social media) the location—somewhere in Southeast Michigan—of his post-show, late-night performance. The location and time will also be announced on AnnArbor.com's A2Entertainment Twitter feed. The show will act as a fundraiser for Community High School.

WK is a CHS alumnus, and talked about his experience there and more in a recent AnnArbor.com interview.

I'm too old to go to a frat party, but I am curious to hear about this show.

The kids think the mystery aspects kind of cool. But if you have nothing better to do than be negative about someone doing a benefit for his alma mater.....

It's great to see people giveback when they have fond memories of their school!

If nothing else the guy is a marketing genius....for himself. Who keeps a benefit secret till the last minute? How is that good for a potential crowd to benefit the benefit?

Exactly. You don't play fame-games when you're trying to "raise money for a cause."
