An Ann Arbor resident is scheduled to compete on the TV game show "Jeopardy!" on Tuesday.

An announcement from the show says that Jan Rishoi of Ann Arbor will be among Tuesday's three contestants. Rishoi, 47, is identified as an analytics software account executive.

"Jeopardy!" is a hugely popular, long-running syndicated game show hosted by Alex Trebek. Its gimmick is to provide an "answer" to which contestants compete to respond with the correct question.

Earlier this fall, Stephanie Jass of Milan enjoyed a record-setting run on the program: Her seven straight wins was the most successful run ever for a female contestant.

Locally, "Jeopardy!" airs at 7:30 p.m. weeknights on WDIV, channel 4 in Detroit.

The test to get on the show is pressure packed and really fun, have you ever tried out Ben? Give it a shot it's fun, you're on a clock to answer the questions just like on real Jeopardy. Some of them are very hard, so hats off to Jan for making it on there you have to really know your stuff to actually get picked.
