'Five Year Engagement' to film at Liberty Plaza Friday night

The letter states that a special effects crew "will be arriving Thursday, June 9th to apply fake snow to Liberty Plaza and working into the morning. On our day of filming, our hours on site will be from approximately 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., and then a cleanup crew will arrive Saturday morning to pick up the snow and return Liberty Plaza back to normal."
The movie, which has been very visible shooting around the area, has recently done other scenes with fake snow in both downtown Ann Arbor and downtown Ypsilanti. The movie also used the real thing during a brief shoot in March.
Meanwhile, "Engagement" filming took place on U-M's Diag on Tuesday, and local film blogger Bananadoc posted photos of Segel on the set.

I'm wondering if they notified the homeless ministry that offers pizza, coffee and clothes to the local homeless community on Friday evenings.

Thank you for thinking of Ann Arbor Vineyard, It's good to see people recognizing the Homeless Ministry's efforts. I am curious now myself and am friends the leader of the group, I will find out if they had a designated relocation spot. Ken Wilson is pretty on top of current events of all the hipsters and the general A2 pulse. Plus, He's on my Facebook reading all of my posts about Jason Segal :)

This sounds like a chick flick in extremis. Maybe we will get some tourism benefits ala Mackinaw Island via "Somewhere In Time".
