With Taste of Ann Arbor and Camp Bacon behind us, it's time for Ann Arbor area food fans to turn their attention to the city's twice-annual Restaurant Week, June 10 - 15.

Forty-seven area restaurants will be offering $25 three-course, prix fix menus and $12 lunch offerings. A selection of participating restaurants will feature two-for-one pricing.

Restaurant Week was originally organized by The Main Street Area Association as a way to bring consumers into the downtown area, but recently the program has expanded to restaurants located in the surrounding areas, including Weber's, Passport Restaurant and Lounge, Graham’s Restaurant and Carson’s American Bistro.

You can find information on participating restaurants, menus, hours and pricing on the Restaurant Week website. Main Street Area Association Director Maura Thomson recommends checking the site before making your plans.

"People will really want to pay attention to the menu page," said Thomson. "Some places who aren't open on Mondays—like Mani and Raven's Club—will be open on Monday for Restaurant Week, and others have improved their offers."

New to Restaurant Week this time are Amadeus, bd's Mongolian Grill and Red Hawk.

"And Blue Tractor is back in, now that they're done with their expansion," said Thomson.

Remember to make your reservations directly with your restaurant of choice. Tables tend to fill up quickly during this event.
