Anthony Bourdain, chef, author and host of the Travel Channel show "No Reservations," was in Ann Arbor today to film an interview with Borders for his upcoming book "Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook."

Bourdain spent the morning at Kerrytown Market meeting with local merchants, according to Wendy Williams, who does marketing work for Monahan's Seafood Market. As the lunchtime crowd began to swell into the market, Anthony Bourdain could be spotted behind the counter at Monahan's, laughing with the fishmongers and waitstaff as customers and fans snapped his picture.

Bourdain's new book, which is due in stores in June, has the often caustic (but always funny) author taking aim at other food personalities, including David Chang, Alice Waters, and Top Chef winners and losers.
