Guy Hollerin's to host local benefit concert for Superstorm Sandy relief

Guy Hollerin's, the popular dance bar/restaurant in the Holiday Inn on Plymouth Road, will host a special multi-artist benefit concert on Sunday to aid victims of "Superstorm Sandy."

Called "Blues to the Rescue," the event will featured musicians George Bedard, Jocelyn B, Motor City Josh, Twyla Birdsong, Tosha Owens, Kathleen Murray, Erich Goebel, Joe Labeau, Bobby Murray, Philip Hale, Glenn Giordano, and James Cloyd Jr. Linda Yohn of WEMU will serve as host.

The show is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec., 9, at Guy Hollerin's, inside the Holiday Inn at 3600 Plymouth Road. Minimum donation is $5. All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to aid victims of Superstorm Sandy.
