Jane Fonda blogs about visit to Ann Arbor - and her first football game in decades

By AnnArbor.com Staff

Actress Jane Fonda and music producer Richard Perry visited the University of Michigan on Friday for a public Q-and-A session with students. (The two are a couple, and Perry is a U-M graduate.)

In a two-part blog post, Fonda recounts a lot of detail about their visit—they stayed over until Saturday and took in the University of Michigan / Purdue football game, which Fonda writes was "the first football game I've been to since a Harvard-Yale Game when I was 18." And she learned how to sing "The Victors."

We learn that she seems to have had a good time in town, and she apparently really likes to take photos.

Read the full blog post here, and find a report on the public Q-and-A session here.

It's all a scam by the U of M to get money out of them, Jane and her strange significant other. Jane looked and sounded like she'd plenty of work, and was just one big ego trip.

Wow, where was Mary Sue? Shouldn't she be greeting such a scintillating member of the glitterati? Oh that's right, she was too busy trying to defuse the situation at the Cantor speech, you know, where there might have been riots, since Cantor is such a destructive menace to society. After all, it's not like any students would object to Jane coming to speak, a known and unapologetic traitor.

She is and always will be Hanoi Jane. She never really came clean about what she did. Why is it so hard and so unusual for public figures and politicians just to admits their mistakes, fess up and apologize ?
