with video: 'Smash' season premiere will feature U-M grads' song
A song called "Caught in the Storm," written by two University of Michigan grads, Benj Pasick and Justin Paul, will be featured in the season premiere of "Smash" on NBC, airing Tuesday, Feb. 5. Additional Pasek and Paul songs will be featured throughout the season.
Most recently, Pasek and Paul wrote the music and lyrics for the stage adaptation of "A Christmas Story," which opened on Broadway this past fall, and an original off-Broadway musical called "Dogfight." On television, they've provided songs for "Sesame Street" and "Johnny and the Sprites."
