Andy Dick will be featured in "Tetherball," slated to shoot in Flint and Ann Arbor this month.

Late last week, The Flint Journal reported that "Tetherball," a comedy featuring Andy Dick and Dustin Diamond, would be shooting in Flint and Ann Arbor this month, rather than just Ann Arbor, as had been previously reported on AnnArbor.com.

Apparently, "Tetherball" producers found more of the locations they needed in Flint than in Ann Arbor; and while the film team had an open casting call at Ann Arbor's Bistro Bar and Grill on Sunday, September 26, it also met with actor-hopefuls this past Saturday in Flint.

Shooting, scheduled to take place this month, starts today (Monday, October 4) in Flint, according to reports.

"Tetherball" focuses on four friends stuck in a telemarketing job they abhor. As an escape, the crew starts playing tetherball on a nearby playground, having no idea that the activity will become locally popular.
