Ann Arbor crime statistics for the week of July 4-10

The number of serious crimes in Ann Arbor dropped significantly last week, falling to 28 incidents compared 59 the week before, Ann Arbor Police Department statistics show.
That compares to 42 the week of June 20-26, 66 the week of June 13-19, and 32 crimes for each of the two weeks prior. Among the crimes last week were three sexual assaults involving acquaintances, five home invasions, one unarmed robbery, one attempted arson, one car theft, and 10 larcenies from vehicles.
