Calling all photographers and animal lovers: It's the last day to submit your best Washtenaw County wildlife photos

The Dexter bear may not have made any more appearances lately, but we’re still looking for the best pictures of other wildlife.
There are plenty of swans, raccoons, ducklings and other animals around the county.
We've received many great images already, and will post a slideshow with the best photographs on the AnnArbor.com homepage Monday.

@tdw, I managed to get a couple photos of the falcons off of State street, but not in time to submit for the contest. Here is a link to one of the pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/linuxtuxguy/5893362623/in/photostream

Nevermind, I guess it turns out that is a Kestrel, and not a Peregrin Falcon!

@tdw, I know where a Peregrine Falcoln nest is on State Street, but so far I have been unsuccessful in photographing them. The babies are just learning to fly at this point!

I wish someone could get one of the chupacabra. I saw it a few years back in Barton Hills.

I wish someone could get a picture of the turkey (not a wild turkey, but a true Thanksgiving-type turkey) that has been seen 3 times by me and my husband near Fuller Road and the VA. I took one with my phone cam, but it didn't turn out very well.

I hope someone gets a picture of that Peregrine falcon that was in my front yard ( munching on a bird ) a few weeks ago
