Commissioner Kristin Judge invites Washtenaw County residents to two coffee hours
Washtenaw County Commissioner Kristin Judge, D-Pittsfield Township, will hold two “Coffee with Your Commissioner” hours this month.
With the county facing a potential $20.9 million deficit over calendar years 2012 and 2013, Judge says service levels will be impacted and she wants to hear from residents about their priorities for county spending. The board already has identified some of its own priorities.

Other issues expected to be discussed by the county board in the near future include a countywide transit plan, police services in the county, and collaboration with local governments.
Judge expressed concerns last week about the proposed makeup of a new countywide transit authority governing board.

- 10-11 a.m. Thursday at Harvest Moon Café, 5484 West Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti.
- 7-8 p.m. April 19 at Brewed Awakenings, 7025 East Michigan Ave., Saline.
