Today could bring record setting temperatures after record-breaker on Thursday
Thursday's high temperature of 78 degrees in Ann Arbor set a new record, according to University of Michigan weather observer Dennis Kahlbaum.
The last time this area saw temperatures that high on April 1 was the record of 75 degrees on 1986, he said.

The region will be going for another record breaker today.
The record for April 2 was a high of 80 degrees in 1986. The forecast predicts temperatures could reach a high of 81 degrees today.
When March wrapped up on Thursday, temperatures had reached the mid 70s - ending one of the least snowy months on record. That's after February had a record snowfall with 33.1 inches of snow.
