Plymouth man pleads guilty in window-peeping at U-M sorority
Christopher Filipek pleaded guilty last week to charges connected to a series of window-peeping incidents that also involved indecent exposure, according to a report from the Ann Arbor Journal.
Filipek was arrested in March by Ann Arbor and University of Michigan police after the incidents were reported starting in November 2010.
Filipek told the judge he used his cell phone to capture images of a partially undressed woman, the newspaper reported.
He'll be sentenced on a total of 11 counts, according to the report. The penalties on those charges range from one day in jail to life imprisonment.

I'm disappointed that Ann Arbor dot com promoted this article on FB as a reminder that women need to close their blinds. I expect more from you guys.

Hopefully he will be made an example of as lately these attacks against women are spiraling out of control. We need to send a message to the public that victimizing women will not be tolerated whatsoever in Ann Arbor and this case provides just the opportunity we need to crack down. Whether rape or voyeurism, it's time to get serious about protecting women, protecting their bodies, protecting their liberties, protecting their virtues and their privacy.

Since this arrest the number of window-peepers and indecent exposure incidents involving white males has plummeted. I recall seeing a rash of indecent exposures (in AA.com, not in person) over the past two years but not many this year. Either the perverted white males got the message or......

How can the charges range from 1 day to life? That seems like a bit of a ridiculous range.
