Several other suspects have also been arrested in connection with the robbery of the bank on Rawsonville Road near Interstate 94, Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies said.
Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Derrick Jackson confirmed the man was in custody just after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. AnnArbor.com is not releasing his name because he has not been arraigned and formally charged with a crime.
Deputies allege the man walked into the PNC Bank, 2140 Rawsonville Road, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and implied he had a weapon while demanding cash from a teller. He took an undisclosed amount of money out of the bank and fled the area, getting into a red vehicle at a nearby Speedway station, deputies said.
Sheriff’s deputies released photos of the man taken from security cameras at the bank later on Tuesday afternoon.
Jackson did not immediately release details of the man’s arrest.
It was the second time that the PNC Bank had been robbed in 2012.
