Man sought in connection with fatal shooting in Ypsilanti
Ypsilanti police said they have probable cause to arrest a man in connection with the fatal shooting Wednesday of a man inside a South Prospect Street apartment.
Investigators are searching for 24-year-old Kenneth Rooks and said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police said 21-year-old Jonathan Claude Rollins of Ypsilanti Township was fatally shot between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m. Wednesday inside the apartment, which he was visiting. Rollins was shot at least twice in the upper body with a handgun after he got into an argument with an acquaintance, Lt. Paul DeRidder said.
Officers were called at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to the apartment, where Rollins was found dead in the living room.
Rooks is described as black, 5 feet, 5 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. He weighs about 240 pounds.
