When it comes down to it, that $60,000 that the district is saving is nothing in comparison to the large numbers of students who take advantage of the camps and basically pay for it themselves.

In my opinion the orange bags made all the difference. I had forgotten about the annual food drive until I found the orange bag in my mailbox. After finding the bag, I immediately went into my house and filled the bag with canned goods from my cupboard and put the bag by my front door. I am glad the food drive was such a success and thanks to all of the sponsors of the drive.

The orange bag was a brilliant idea -- hope they do that again next year...What a fantastic way to donate, and thanks to all of our neighbors and friends!

Great to hear the food drive was a success! I guess they got what they needed, because we left a nicely stuffed bag out by the mailbox and it was never even picked up!
