Hartland Patch: Man stopped on way to work in Ann Arbor as police search for I-96 shooter
A White Lake man had a scary commute Monday morning soon after the I-96 shooter was feared to have struck again.
Brian Tajer was pulled over and released by police, but not until his vehicle had been searched by officers with guns drawn in the aftermath of suspected highway shooting on U.S. 23 just north of I-96 Monday morning, the Hartland Patch reported.
Trajer told Patch he drives a vehicle — a Chevy Cavalier — similar to the car police were looking for Monday around 9:15 a.m., when Trajer was pulled over south of I-96.
The 26-year-old was on his way to work in Ann Arbor when the frightening incident occurred, Patch's story said.
