Paving project to close lanes of Plymouth Road over the weekend
A resurfacing project on about two miles of Plymouth Road between Dixboro Road and M-153 in Superior Township will cause some traffic delays this weekend.
Though a minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction will be open during the repaving, the Washtenaw County Road Commission is advising that drivers seek an alternate route.
Access for businesses and residents will be maintained. Construction work on the roadway began in early July.
The project will add a right westbound lane at Dixboro Road and a center left turn lane with a traffic signal at the intersection of Plymouth Road and Cherry Hill Road.
Paving is slated to begin Friday and continue over the weekend to Tuesday.
