Police continue to look for missing Ann Arbor man

Update at 5:45 p.m.: Detective Bill Stanford said there is no update on the whereabouts of Daniel Lee Brown.

Police are still searching for a 67-year-old Ann Arbor man who went missing Tuesday.

Detective William Stanford said Friday police are hoping to get more tips about the whereabouts of Daniel Lee Brown, who was last seen at his residence in the 2200 block of Hemlock Court of Ann Arbor in the early afternoon Tuesday.

Brown left the home in a dark blue 2005 Dodge Caravan, with a Michigan license plate of CLN-5316. Police said he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and dementia.

Anyone with information about Brown's whereabouts is encouraged to call Stanford at (734) 323-2628 or the Tip Line at (734) 794-6939 or 911.

i'm his son- and the whole family is worried- he doesn't have dementia- as mentioned above- He is a kind, intelligent person who has gone through a couple rounds of chemo as seen in the photo above- which is actually 2 years or older- He recovered a bit since the chemo sessions and looks 10 years younger than the photo above suggests- He has short term memory loss from a head injury from a year ago- He didn't even take his shaving kit or laptop- so I really think he did not check into a hotel- It seems to me that he was most likely heading to a grocery store in his van- He likes Meijers on Carpenter and the Whole Foods Market on Washtenaw.

Do you have any photos from before he went through chemo? As you say he looks much younger than he did in that 2 year old photo, maybe an older one would be helpful? I'm hoping for a happy ending here...

I will be keeping an eye out for your pop. I hope they find him soon. Can only imagine how difficult this is for you and your family, but at least you've got lots of people looking for him.

Thanks for filling in some missing information. I am so sorry that he has not been found. This must be very hard for you to deal with. Please know that a lot of people care and are hoping for a good outcome for all of you.

The family didn't report him missing until yesterday (Thursday). We wrote a story about it then and had it at the top page. This is an update. Police are still looking for tips.

I hope so too- Anna- I'm his son- he doesn't really have dementia-Not sure where they got that from- MY Mom may have mis-spoken to police- He has minor memory loss issues after a head injury last summer-
