Three charged, two sought during investigation into Lodi Township burglary
Three men are facing criminal charges after Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies say they fled from a reported burglary in Lodi Township on Saturday, crashing their van into a patrol car.
Lamar Kenneth Pitts, 22, Andre Giles Davenport, 19, and Brandon Ellis Davis, 18, are each charged with resisting and obstructing police, a sheriff's department incident summary said.
They were arraigned Monday at the Washtenaw County Jail. Davenport has been released on $2,000 bail, jail officials said this morning. Pitts and Davis are each being held on $5,000 bail.
They are accused of fleeing from a reported burglary in the 6500 block of West Ellsworth Road and attempting to run from deputies after their van crashed into a patrol car on Zeeb Road near Scio Church Road.
Two men who also ran from the van remain at large, sheriff's department spokesman Derrick Jackson said this morning. Jackson did not have a description of them.
