A thunderstorm watch that was to be in effect until 10 p.m. has been canceled, according to the National Weather Service.

At 7:30 p.m., Doppler radar showed that the thunderstorms with heavy rainfall moved east of the region. However another line of storms could bring heavy rain until 10 p.m., according to the Weather Service.
