All lanes of northbound US-23 as well as the entrance ramps for Interstate 94 have been reopened following a car-semi truck crash on the east side of Ann Arbor at about 1 p.m. today.

The crash seriously injured the driver of the car, Pittsfield Township Fire Chief Sean Gleason said this afternoon. She was taken to an area hospital.

The truck overturned after the impact, spilling fuel and part of its load. The vehicles, which were seriously damaged, left the freeway and came to rest in the parking lot of Home Depot on Carpenter Road.

The accident scene was cleared and all lanes reopened before 5:30 p.m., the dispatcher said.

Home Depot isn't anywhere near I-94 and State. Where did this crash actually happen?

It was still backed up at 3:30. I decided it was better to head to Ann Arbor Saline road for quicker way N.bound.
