Big Chill at the Big House will detour AATA buses for two hours before and after outdoor hockey game

By Jeff Arnold

The Ann Arbor Transit Authority announced today that six of its bus routes will be detoured for approximately two hours before and after Saturday's Big Chill at the Big House.

More than 100,000 fans are expected to travel to Michigan Stadium for the sold-out outdoor hockey game between Michigan and Michigan State (3 p.m., Fox Sports Detroit).

Routes 4, 6, 7, 8, 15 and 16 will be affected, starting at 1 p.m. and for two hours after the game, which should conclude around 5:30 p.m.

AATA will provide shuttle service to and from the game from area hotels and other pick-up and drop-off locations used on football Saturdays. The cost for the shuttle service is $1.50 each way.
