On Sunday, AnnArbor.com told the story of Willow Run High School freshman Marquis Smith who, despite being just 13 years old, is the starting quarterback for the varsity football team.
Smith isn't just on the team, he's leading leading the team. On Friday he accounted for 562 yards of total offense -- 436 through the air and 126 on the ground.
AnnArbor.com photographer Daniel Brenner visited Smith at practice and at home for a deeper look at the young quarterback, on and off the field.
