Skyline boys survive winless Tecumseh; Chelsea hockey wins in OT and more Tuesday results
Tuesday night's Skyline versus Tecumseh boys basketball game in Ann Arbor was a hotly contested for three quarters. The second quarter, though, was heavily in favor of the Eagles and would prove to be the difference in the 64-55 Southeastern Conference crossover win for Skyline.
The Eagles (9-8, 8-5 SEC Red) outscored Tecumseh (0-16, 0-13 SEC White) 13-3 in the quarter, stretching its two-point first quarter lead to 32-20 by halftime.
Peter Bakker was the catalyst in the first half for Skyline, hitting six shots in a row and scoring 13 consecutive points. He finished with 18 on the night.
