By Kyle Austin

The girls basketball game between Manchester and Dexter at Dexter High School next Wednesday has taken the early lead two days into our Week 2 Basketball Game of the Week poll.

But it hasn't had much competition.

Through 48 hours, we've seen just 96 votes in our Week 2 poll. That's well off the pace of our Week 1 poll, when we garnered more than 1,100 votes as Pioneer-Father Gabriel Richard girls took the win. A reminder, that game will be played on Thursday with giving it comprehensive coverage.

But fans still have five days to get ouf the vote before this week's poll closes at noon Saturday.

In the meantime, fans can vote for Manchester-Dexter or one of our four other choices this week: Huron-Lincoln boys, Monroe-Milan boys, Milan-Saline girls and Saline-Chelsea boys.

All games are between Tuesday Dec. 11 and Friday Dec. 14.

The winner will receive our blanket coverage for the game, including a preview, multiple reporters covering the game from multiple angles, plus photos and a live chat from the site.
