Milan native and University of Detroit golfer Lindsey Lammers will spend the weekend competing at the second annual Judson Collegiate Pro-Am and Legends Challenge in Roswell, Georgia.
The event will feature 60 of the top female college golfers playing with 30 players from the Legends Tour, the LPGA’s senior circuit. The four-day tournament starts Friday and features a scramble, a pro-am, and a two-day stroke play event featuring the college golfers.
"This is such a great opportunity and I am so thankful that I was invited to play," Lammers said in a press release. "I was actually invited to last year's event, but an injury kept me out and I am glad that I was able to get the call this year. It is really a once in a lifetime opportunity and it came around again."
Lammers will be paired in the pro-am with Amy Alcott, a five-time major winner and Women’s Golf Hall of Famer.
Lammers, a 2010 Milan High School graduate, won Horizon League Player of the Year honors in 2013, setting a school record with a 76.2 scoring average.
