Still full from the feast?
Ford Field was full for the Detroit Lions annual Thanksgiving Day beating on national television.
The streets of Detroit were full, first for the record number of runners in the Turkey Trot, then the Thanksgiving Day parade.
And we're full of advice of where you should point your browser.
NFL

- The view out of Packer land is much sunnier. The Packers have won three games in 12 days and fans in Green Bay are looking at a wild-card spot in the playoffs, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
- Former Michigan star Charles Woodson is donating $2 million to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, AnnArbor.com reported on Thursday.
- Woodson had an impressive day on the field, too, the Journal Sentinel says.
- Mike O'Hara at The Detroit News says owners may not bend to pressure to take the Thanksgiving Day game away from the Lions.

RUNNING
- The annual Turkey Trot runs in Detroit drew a record crowd, the Free Press says.
I boycott the freep, so I won't be clicking there anytime soon, but the Lions definitely added fuel to the fire of those who want the Thanksgiving game taken away from them.
I think the NFL should tell WCF that this was the last Thanksgiving game the Lions will play until he sells the team. I'm tired of seeing the Lions disgrace the entire state of Michigan on a yearly basis. Everyone outside of Michigan laughs at the Lions. It's like the saying, "they're not laughing with you; they're laughing at you."
I used to look forward to actually seeing the Lions once a year down here in Florida. Now, though, I would rather see them removed from the "radar" until they can field a representative team.
The NFL wants to showcase their best on national TV; the Lions are far from that status. Unless there is a catagory for "best 50-year mismanagement of a football team." Then, the Lions win hands down.
