Getting to know the Michigan basketball team's first European opponent - Ghent

By Michael Rothstein

The Michigan basketball team's first opponent in its four-game European excursion Sunday is Ghent - or spelled Gent in Belgium - at 4 p.m. Belgian time (10 a.m. Eastern)

It's the lowest-caliber team of the four the Wolverines will play. Ghent was 10-22 in the Belgian first division last year.

Arena (and this is translated): Tollbooth Arena

Roster: Lionel Bosco, a point guard, appears to be Ghent's best player. Forward Monwell Randle played at Missouri State. Also on the team is J'Nathan Bullock, from Flint. He played at Cleveland State.
