Geeze! These are 18-19 year old kids. All these rankings and crap are based on probabilities of success. When it comes to the individual, all that coutnts is possiblility. I see a lot of possiblitiies with the bunch of kids RR has recruited. It's the year between freshman and sophomore where the most growth occurs, and it will be fun to watch Denard and Tate provide some leadership for this bunch. I'll bet Pat Sheridan will be in there too. I have a feeling that come the fall we're going to be saying, along with the Black Eyed Peast: "tonight's gonna be a good night" after most games."

If I am not wrong Pioneer is in Washtenaw county so wouldn't that make Miller the top receiver?

Who cares about Ryan Mallet GIVE IT UP!!!!! Mallet can only run a pro-style offense, not a spread option. Stars dont matter as much. Many great players were 3-star and under. Many of these players r very underrated, and have lots of room to bulk up. As long as they r aggressive size dont matter. "Its not the size of the dog in the fight, its the size fo the fight in the dog". And its very funny for MSU fans to be so cocky when they dont have true-freshmen running the whole entire offense. Next year Sparty is goin down, try over-look us cuz that'll be ur biggest mistake then all us UM fans will blog on ur guy's site. And also for u other fans to blog on our team's site mean that u guys r scared and have nothing to do but make-up trash. Well its pretty funny to me. IF UM wins the BigTen, beating ND, MSU, OSU, and the other BigTen teams i will irritate the hell out of u guys on ur fansites. MUCH WORSE THAN WHAT UR DOIN!!!! SO BEWARE BLUE IS BACK!!!!!!!!!

MSU don't recruit little puny 210 lb. defensive ends and 5'8 cornerbacks. Another Maize and Blue beatdown at the hands of an oversized Spartan team is on the way. Why so much worry about MSU? Have you all given up on comparing the Blue to OSU? When UM fans said they want to finish in the top 25, I don't think they meant 25th in recruiting class. UM's recruiting class now is talked about in the same breath as a basketball school. WOW!

I think some of you that are being critical about the size of some of the recruits is that they are athletes. Florida, USC, Texas, OU don't have a lot of size. They have athletes that develop size and get bigger. You either have athleticism or you don't.... Alabama and Ohio State seem to be able to blend the combination of size and athletes....but if I recall correctly...some of the Crimson Tide players are not Sabans. Cody. McClain. Arenas. The entire O-Line I know wasn't his...as well as the D-Line. So I will be curious to see how Sabans kids fair in the next year or two.... Bottomline is....Michigan is getting some athletes in this class..if I recall correctly didn't he have a number of OL come in last season....and it appears that he has gotten a number of DL in this class.... I am no apologists..I want to see results...meaning wins...but I see where he putting in a foundation....some of you will hate it no matter what he does...some of you might embrace it after time..I don't know.....a lot of those kids on that list are coming to play for Michigan while the team is struggling and if they can get on board...why can't some of you jaded Michigan fans get on board as well..... Go Blue! Period...

Walmartwolverine plz go blog aobut MSU then if u think they can bet UM wit half the spartys on probation. UM will beat MSU anytime anyday. ID like to see u try trash talk after UM owns MSU in Ann Arbor. Looks like a good big class. Jus got 2 get those 5 targets and UM will have a beast class especially recruits that could make the future secondary looks really great. Dont forget rashad knight, hes a S but has the size of a CB he could help with a huge boost in defense.

I was just going over this "great" recruiting list and one thing jumps out at me. There are 29 players listed (including the target list), of these 29, 17 are under 200 pounds, 7 are between 200 and 250, and 5 are 250 and above, and of those 5 over 250, 2 are on the target list. Guys, the kool-aid is cold and sweet, but history has proven (i.e. Forcier), little guys aren't the answer. I know, Iknow, you guys are all gonna say they're smaller but quicker etc...but the teams that are beating them on a regular basis are just as fast, but not, just as small. I'm sure Tater will say this class represents NC's, but this is pathetic. It amounts to a bunch of undersized wide receivers...I hope they can play safety.

UM has a very good class right now, with a lot of impact players that are going to play right away. Would still be great to see Wilson, Parker, Grimes, Murphy and Hankins - come to UM guys!! We need you!!

Not many 5 star players on this list. I also do not see anyone that is All Conference material like Mallett and Boren. No wonder the team is so lousy with RR.

Thu, Dec 24, 2009 : 1:37 p.m.

The great thing is, MSU did not have a chance at landing a quarter of these excellent players. Different level, Sparty. How would you be proud of attending Misdemeanor State University? MSU makes it so easy sometimes.

Thu, Dec 24, 2009 : 9:17 a.m.

10/9/10 - Sparty will get beat down in Ann Arbor. 2010 will be the year RichRod's recruits and those who stayed will become champions. Not sure how many Walmart Wolverines there are out there, but it certainly beats being a Spartan fan any day of the week, month, year, decade, century, etc. Go Blue!

I'm also confused and amazed by how many receivers RR recruits as opposed to defensive players, which has been the downfall of the team for the past two years. I hope he gets enough quality defensive recruits to make a difference.

Parker, Grimes and Murphy are probably the the strongest possibilities.

can't wait to hear the excuses next year....can't blame it on Carr's recruits!

Wed, Dec 23, 2009 : 9:19 p.m.

The reason why there are so many WR's is that many can play defense. No doubt some will. God knows we need it.

Wed, Dec 23, 2009 : 7:44 p.m.

Hankins would be a nice pickup because the team needs some more D linemen. Wilson on the OL would be nice as well and both guys appear to have the mass needed to fight in the Big Ten trenches.

Red Cedar 1- Can't wait to see MSU's recruits list. Heard it is broken down into "those who wear ski masks during beatdowns" and "those who don't"...

6 Wide receivers, a full 1/4 of the class? I just don't understand this guy.

Hopefully we'll get a clean slate from the NCAA and we won't lose any of our recruits or scholorships.
