Michigan slot receiver Roy Roundtree shares the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week
Roy Roundtree established a Michigan football record with 246 receiving yards Saturday in a 67-65 triple overtime victory against Illinois. For that, he was named the Big Ten Conference's Offensive Player of the Week.
Roundtree, who scored twice against the Illini, shares the weekly honor with Illinois running back Mikel Leshoure, who scored five touchdowns and had 172 all-purpose yards against Michigan.
Penn State's Michael Mauti and Wisconsin's Antonio Fenelus shared the Defensive Player of the Week award. Iowa's Mike Meyer was named the Special Teams Player of the Week and Illinois quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase is the Freshman of the Week.

The receivers are fantastic. Two spectacular plays by Jr Hemmingway too.

Good for Roy! He earned it. I didn't realize the Illinois RB scored 5 TD's. Geez.
