Wolverines still trying to find their touch as Big Ten season begins
A game of "red light, green light" may seem like child's play.
But the way Michigan's basketball team has been shooting so far this season, John Beilein has felt the need to add traffic cop to his list of duties.
Since arriving in Ann Arbor three years ago, Beilein has had a simple philosophy: If you're open, shoot.
But after the Wolverines have struggled to find their shooting touch in a season that has already tallied 5 losses, Beilein is putting the brakes on his shot-happy style of play.
"We haven't shot it well in the three years I've been here," Beilein said Monday as his team prepares for today's non-conference finale against Coppin State.
