This month, we launched a new feature on AnnArbor.com for local businesses to interact with our readers called Ask Your Local Expert.

It's a question and answer format and is set up on five topic areas: Parenting, Health, Crime, Home & Garden and Pets. We'll be working with different advertisers each month who will showcase experts from their organization answering frequently asked and timely questions.

If you've got a question you'd like one of that month's experts to answer, you can use the form on the Ask Your Local Expert pages to send your question. It will be submitted directly to the expert.

Some of the first Ask Your Local Expert participants include Ann Arbor Animal Hospital, Mythologic Computers, Restoration Vein Care, The Vincent Law Firm P.C. and Big George's Home Appliance Mart. They’ve answered questions ranging from how to set the parental controls on your family’s game console to how to decide whether to get a new pet for the holidays.
