I think the photos in this article are by annarbor.com photographers. The readers gallery hasn't been posted yet. They probably wanted to get all the submissions before creating the gallery.

Hi everyone. Jsun is correct. We're taking some time to get the submissions together and put them into a gallery. This should be ready by later today or Monday. The gallery attached to this article is just photos by our staff photographers. Check back later to see a gallery of reader-submitted ones.

I also sent in a photo that hasn't been posted. I do wonder why submissions were asked for but then not posted. The original photos are still on the site, without one new addition. It doesn't make sense to me. I guess I'll just have to look around outside instead of online to see the pretty fall colors.

I did, but I guess they weren't good enough. http://flic.kr/ps/MvfZq .

Then I started wondering if this article is the gallery or if there will be another gallery after they decide which ones should go in it. Oh well, doesn't matter.

OF course they are good enough. Like Simon says (ha!) they haven't gotten around to them yet. I'm even using 6763 as my wallpaper. Nice.

I think there is often in a delay when submissions are posted. I'm sure it's done in batches to be efficient, so they may wait a few days before uploading. The gallery above is a sampling of early entries. Your flickr gallery has some great shots, especially of the colours. I love the ones of the big old tree , backlit by the sun. Captured the feel of the gorgeous weather last weekend perfectly!

Who cares who is judging this. Most of the photos are from readers and this is just for fun. Maybe you ought to submit a few so we can see how it's done? Let's not complain just to complain. I like the photos. I plan on going out later today to take some myself.

Who is judging this? Many photos are out of focus or not good subject matter.
