Flash mob to convene on University of Michigan Diag today

By Kellie Woodhouse

If you're walking through the University of Michigan Diag today, expect to see a flash mob dancing to the popular Isley Brothers song 'Shout.'

The Allies for Disability Awareness hopes to gather around 200 people for the 12 p.m. flash mob, which it's organizing in honor of Disability Awareness Week.

The flash mob precedes Wednesday's freeze on the Diag.

Organizers are hoping for more than 1,000 participants in that event.

C'mon XMO, it's free public art that we don't have to pay for with our tax dollars.

Please support the ANTI-FLASH MOB and ANTI-Freeze by avoiding the Diag. We can create awareness for apathy!

Flash mobs are so overdone. The first one was unique, every one since is just ridiculous! Time to come up with something original and move on from this tired idea.

Shouldn't that be "precedes"? Proceeds doesn't make sense there unless there are words missing....

Throw in a march on the CIA office, a couple Molotov cocktails and some good hash oil and, heck, it would be just like the good old days.

"Expect to see a flash mob." Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?

Flash mobs are so four years ago. But if it somehow makes you feel profound, than what the heck, go for it.
