The Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser is wrapping up by bowling “celebration parties.”
The bowling teams consist of four bowlers and each team is asked to raise a minimum of $300. Each member of the teams gets two hours of bowling, bowling shoes, a T-shirt and is eligible for prizes and giveaways.
The events will take place at noon and 2:30 p.m. both days this weekend at Colonial Lanes, 1950 S. Indutrial, in Ann Arbor.

Just wanted to mention that this fundraiser is put on by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washtenaw County. The organization serves nearly 500 children in the area and all of the money raised from this event goes to match a child with a caring mentor! There are over 200 children on the waiting list to be matched. Learn more about becoming a "Big" by visiting www.bbbswashtenaw.org.

I Like It that the owner of Colonial is sponsoring this kind of Fund Raiser. For most Ann Arborites Bowling is akin to Rodeo. Try it; you'll like it! And the idea of "Fundraisers" at the lanes is kinda neat!
