A vast number of toys are displayed for families to take home. Salvation Army didn't purchase any of the toys and they were all sponsored by people of Washtenaw County. The Salvation Army of Washtenaw County will put toys under the tree for local families in need at its annual Christmas Toy Shop. Families who signed up for Christmas assistance picked out toys for children, as well as a gift card to Meijers. An estimated over 550 families would be stopping in at the Salvation Army on Arbana Dr. Friday December 16, 2011. Volunteers from all around Washtenaw County came to help the cause.
