Police put out a missing person poster Tuesday. Det. Bill Stanford could not immediately be reached for comment this afternoon.
Family members had told police they had no idea where she might have gone.
It was unclear where she was found and whether an autopsy was conducted.

Oh Yvonne, we will miss your jaunty stride and ready smile, flipping your shiny hair to say "Hello..." There are many gardens in town that will look draggy and sad without Yvonne's steady hand and expert care. Alas, my neighbors, I hope we will hear about the memorial when plans are in place. Thanks too to Debbie and Carol for sharing your fond memories. Heather and Steve

Yvonne was very special. We will miss having her at lunch and in our community. She was very friendly. We will never know how hard she struggled in this life. Her smile made us think all was just fine. She especially loved animals and was a friend to all. An avid swimmer at the Y, and a walker, she believed she should live with a very fit body. In this year of 2012, many will live to be 53 times two. For Yvonne, middle- age was the end. For us, who lived and shared life with her we will grieve. And then we will go on, carrying her smile inside our lives. written together, Carol Griffin Deborah Gibson

Please Love this woman. I saw her often and Know that she Struggled very much. At Miller Manor folks are crying and are in shock. We know what happened. It will be broadcast I'm sure. This note is about love and support for Yvonne's memory and the grieving family. Take it easy on these reporters. Remember what's important...yourSelves and Each Other. Please take care of each other. If you brought flowers to Ann Arbor Housing Authority, 727 Miller Ave., they would get to the folks at Miller Manor and would be so very beautiful at the Memorial. This death of my friend softens my heart. I hope it stays that way. Deep Peace to you Yvonne...and to all that see this...go on well.

To all of you that are moaning and whining about the news reporting: If you don't like it why don't you open your own news agency!?

If you don't like the comments why don't you open a news agency and then delete the moaning and whining you don't like?

Sad situation. This is non-reporting, however. How about some details, where was she found, what were the circumstances, etc. Otherwise, it's just an announcement of an unfortunate event, not journalism.

First, my condolences to her family and friends. With respect to your query, I think there was an article on a missing persons report concerning this lady the other day. So, dot com has updated that previous story and informed the public that they no longer need to look out for this woman because she has been found, and unfortunately not alive.

First of all, newspapers have always featured announcements of deaths and events and other sorts of things. Second of all, the article clearly states that more information was not available. The purpose of a newspaper posting such an article is to get the word out so people who may have information can report it. People really need to get their heads on straight and stop making such trivial complaints.
