The Inn Style Salon and owner Christa Bauer at the Holiday Inn on Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor helped make Sunday a special day for some area young women.
The salon, along with students in the Mentorship for Achievement in the Classroom program at Pinckney High School invited several students with autism to participate in a "day of beauty." The girls, who are mentored by students in the program who want to become special education teachers, got their hair, nails and makeup done.
AnnArbor.com photographer Chris Asadian captured these images of the day.
