Judge David Swartz sentenced Jamill Devon Passmore to 75-240 months for each of his three counts of armed robbery. Sentencing for the three counts will run concurrently and credit for 138 days was given.

Counts 8-12 were dismissed in return for Passmore’s guilty plea on June 20. Counts 4-7 were previously dismissed.

In addition to the dropped charges, Passamore will not be charged as a habitual offender as part of the plea deal.

According to police, Passmore helped set up the robbery of four men outside Eastern Michigan University’s Westview Apartments near Rynearson Stadium on January 18. Rolex watches, Gucci belts and cellphones were allegedly stolen from the men.

Passmore and the four men watched an L.A. Lakers-Miami Heat basketball game in the apartment of one of the men prior to leaving for a party, according to testimony.

The apartment owner and other men testified that Passmore left the apartment multiple times during the game to talk on his cellphone.

Around 1:30 a.m., Passmore and the four men were walking through a parking lot on their way to a party when two men came up from behind them and indicated they had a gun.

Three of the men got down on the ground while Passmore and the fourth man ran, according to testimony.

The three men remaining on the ground were robbed of a Rolex watch, two belts and a cellphone by suspects.

According to testimony, Passmore assaulted the man who fled from suspects with him and demanded the man hand over his belongings.

After the incident, Passmore met up with the two suspects.

Passmore was originally charged with seven counts of armed robbery, four counts of unarmed robbery and one count with assault with intent to rob while unarmed.

"According to testimony, Passmore assaulted the man who fled from suspects with him and demanded the man hand over his belongings." BWAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! So the WHOLE reason they were caught in the first place...is because of this man's incredulence.... I have a feeling the robbery wasn't about acquiring property so much as it was about 'dominating' the victims.

"In addition to the dropped charges, Passamore will not be charged as a habitual offender as part of the plea deal." This part escapes me, if you are a habitual offender, you should be charged as such. I don't understand some of the bad plea deals that Washtenaw County prosecutors are offering.

It's too bad you can't give a 6-20 year sentence and one of those, 'Could have had a V8' dope slaps to the forehead.
