Michigan's Alex Guptill and David Wohlberg garner CCHA player of the week honors
Alex Guptill and David Wohlberg are tied for the lead in goals (10) on the Michigan hockey team this season. Monday, they tied each other for awards received from the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.

Wohlberg had a goal and two assists in a 4-2 win over Lake Superior State on Friday night and followed that performance with a goal and an assist in a 2-2 tie the following night. Wohlberg is also tied for the team lead in points with 21.
Guptill had a goal and three assists against the Lakers despite having to leave the third period of Saturday's game after taking a stick to the head. It is Guptill's second conference rookie of the week award this season. He is third on the team in points with 20.
