It will be another 1 1/2 years before recent Father Gabriel Richard graduate Donnie Eaton and Pioneer senior-to-be Travis Maezes join forces on the Michigan baseball team.

The Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association beat the maize and blue to the punch, naming both to their post-season Dream Team.

The MHSBCA selects separate all-state teams for all four MHSAA divisions. The Dream Team consists of players selected from all four divisions.

Eaton was one of four Gabriel Richard seniors named Division 3 first team all-state, along with Chris Ostrowski, Conor Dishman and Nolan Breymaier. Fighting Irish senior Dennis Olszewski was a second team selection.

Maezes was Washtenaw County’s only Division 1 representative and Milan senior Chaz Poindexter was named second team all-state in Division 2.

Eaton is part of Michigan baseball coach Rich Maloney's 11-member 2011-12 recruiting class. Maezes has extended a non-binding, verbal commitment to join the Wolverines' 2012-13 class.

Two other future Wolverines -- Mike Dolloff of Davison and Trent Szkutnik of Temperance Bedford -- are also on the Dream Team.
