There was plenty to watch Saturday when the Michigan football team beat Western Michigan, 34-10, to open the 2011 season. An interception return for a touchdown. A fumble return for a touchdown. Highlights from the box score -- no turnovers for Michigan, only 5 yards of penalties, 190 yards rushing on 26 attempts for an average of 7.3 yards/attempt. My sense is Michigan was getting its legs on offense. Defense was stiffening but had issues.
