More than a dozen replays are available, on demand, for free, to basic cable subscribers on ESPN3. Including most M games; including M v Neb.

Access to original showings and to replays is still a very mixed bag - and that applies to all of college football. Looking at even a partial history shows that this started with the competition between the original TV networks, then spread to cable and now to these "football conference networks" that have sprung up across the country. Just saying: this is exactly opposite to the (alleged) benefits of capitalism's "open competition" principle. Across Europe and South America (and other places): soccer ("football") is available on state owned networks - period. Since the days of radio broadcasting, networks like the BBC have been outstripping the American system in terms of access and quality and are a resounding success - around the world. Before anyone gets their panties bunched, it's obvious that "our system" doesn't work because: the participants (companies) are NOT following the rules of free competition, they're carefully avoiding doing so. Strictly speaking: they are risk adverse and anti-consumer as well. But it still boils down to the fact that "centralization" works better - regardless whether it's run under a socialist system or capitalist one. But that's only possible when the provider is -- honest and can be held accountable.

Great job Big Ten Network ! It is so great to see the game live then watch it soon afterward (but only after a win, okay) - you get to see the little things behind the plays that one misses watching our players sprinting to the end zones ! MgoBlueForTiM........watching it again and again........
