The University of Michigan on Wednesday gave AnnArbor.com and other media members a tour of rarely seen parts of its latest treasure, the 174-acre ex-Pfizer complex in northern Ann Arbor.
David Canter, who led the massive campus for Pfizer until the pharmaceutical company left Ann Arbor in 2008, is directing the site once again -- this time for the university. He led the tour -- and it was the first time he had ever shown parts of the site to the public.
Watch this video to get a sense of what the university got in return for its $108 million.
