We're at more than 5,000 votes and counting for the best burger in Washtenaw County. Now is your chance to let your voice be heard. Are you on Team Blimpy? Do you pine for the burgers from Sidetrack? Does the Wurst Bar's Mr. Peanut Burger make your pulse quicken?

The current tallies show Ypsilanti's Sidetrack Bar and Grill holding a slight but steady lead over Ann Arbor's Blimpy Burger, with Wurst Bar and Casey's in a virtual dead heat for third place.

The burger at Sidetrack was listed as one of the 20 best in the country by GQ magazine in 2007, while Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger has been profiled by The Travel Channel and rated visits from Guy Fieri's Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and Adam Richman's Man V. Food.

Also in the top 10 are Dan’s Downtown Tavern, Knight's Steak House, Bridgewater Bank Tavern, Bagger Dave’s (the only chain in the top ten!), Zingerman's Roadhouse and Frita Batidos.

We're closing the voting at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, so make sure to make your choices known now! Next Wednesday, MLive statewide entertainment reporter John Gonzalez will be in town to taste some of the burgers you voted for as he searches for Michigan's Best Burger.
